Mr. Nasim-uz-Zafar Burney is the Chairman of the company. He also runs the Travel Services business. He has a degree in economics and over forty years’ experience including 20 years at management level. He enjoys good contacts at key positions in government.
Dr Nadeem Akhtar Burney is a well-known economist. He holds a doctorate in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and has more than 40 years’ experience including World Bank in Washington, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics and Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research. He specializes in microeconomics and has to his credit, scores of research papers published in international journals.
Mr. Naeem Burney is the founder and Chief Executive. He is a Polymer Technologist with over 35 years’ experience and is responsible for business development. Prior to entering into business he worked for BASF and Dow Chemical. He enjoys very good reputation and respect in the market.
Mr. Irfan K. Qureshi is Executive Director. He is a business graduate with more than 40 year experience in petroleum industry. He was associated with Exxon and Caltex/Chevron at senior positions before being appointed in 2009 as Managing Director of Pakistan State Oil, which is the largest oil marketing company in Pakistan - a position in which he served for more than two years.
Mr Faiz Ahmed Malik is a Chemical Engineer. He is based in Lahore and looks after the manufacturing plant. He has been in this field for nearly 30 years. Prior to Matrix he worked for BASF for more than ten years in product development. He has also worked in manufacturing for some leading local companies.
